The Municipal Office and Ripley-Huron Community Centre will be closed Friday April 18th and Monday April 21st. The Huron Landfill will be closed Friday April 18th and Saturday April 19th. Please plan accordingly.

As of April 11th, 2025, the two Huron-Kinloss Yard Waste Depots will re-open. The yard waste depots are located at: Huron Yard Waste Depot: just east of the landfill at 2083 Concession 6 E. Lucknow Yard Waste Depot: 907 Havelock St. just south of the soccer fields.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is holding its 2025 Spring Tree Sale. Trees will be sold for $40.00/tree including tax, limited quantities are available. Orders will be taken starting at 12:00 p.m. noon on Friday April 11th on a first come, first serve basis.

The Township of Huron-Kinloss Council approved the 2025 Budget on March 17, 2025. The 2025 budget contains $16.1 million in operating expenditures and $7.9 million in capital expenditures.  After revenues and transfers from reserves are applied, the Township must levy $11,479,035; an increase of $675,615 or 6.25% over the 2024 levy.  In order to raise these funds, the residential tax rate will be set at 0.00758000; a 4.75% increase over the 2024 tax rate.
