Bear sightings in Point Clark
Please be advised that there have been black bear sightings in Point Clark
There has been a recent bear sighting in Point Clark. Here are some tips should you encounter a bear:
If you encounter a black bear stop what you are doing and evaluate the situation. Identify yourself by speaking in a calm, appeasing tone. Back away slowly, preferably in the direction you came. Walk, don’t run, and keep your eye on the bear so you can see how it will react. In most cases, the bear will flee.
To help discourage wildlife from approaching your residence do not leave any garbage and food out. Wildlife will keep on walking by your place if there is nothing there to eat.
