Seeking Nuclear Waste Community Advisory Committee Members-EXTENDED
Council for the Township of Huron-Kinloss has extended the deadline for interested and open-minded individuals to voluntarily participate on a Nuclear Waste Community Advisory Committee to facilitate community engagement and assist with activities and events related to the Site Selection process.
In April 2012, The Township of Huron-Kinloss formally entered the Site Selection process to find an informed and willing host community to host the deep geological repository for used nuclear fuel.
