News Release - Our Future Huron-Kinloss Community Forum
Township of Huron-Kinloss is Hosting a Community Forum -
'Our Future Huron-Kinloss'
Since March, the Township of Huron-Kinloss has been asking its residents to think about their future. Township representatives have been asking community members what you love about Huron-Kinloss, what your vision is for Huron-Kinloss’ future, and what you think would improve Huron-Kinloss.
These efforts are part of the development of a Sustainability and Strategic Plan known as ‘Our Future Huron-Kinloss’ and will guide the Township’s future efforts. To continue the conversation about Our Future Huron-Kinloss, residents are being invited to join in a collaborative and engaging discussion about the direction of the Township on May 14 at 7:00 pm at the Ripley Huron Community Centre.
“This Community Forum will provide residents with an opportunity to roll up their sleeves and engage in a meaningful discussion about our Township’s future,” said Mayor Mitch Twolan. “It’s important that we hear our community members’ ideas so that we can draw a roadmap to the kind of future our residents want to see in Huron-Kinloss,” he continued.
At the Forum, participants will be invited to brainstorm the Township’s current strengths and weaknesses, as well as future opportunities and threats. Participants will also be asked to share their ideas about the Township’s future and the direction they would like to see it go in.
