Closures and Cancellations

Morning Fitness Classes: If Highway 21 is closed between Amberley and Kincardine at 8AM, morning fitness classes are cancelled. 

Afternoon Fitness Classes: If Highway 21 is closed between Amberley and Kincardine at 2:30PM, evening fitness classes are cancelled. 

Snow Days

When the Ripley Huron Community School buses are not running and staff is able to open the Ripley Huron Community Centre, shinny hockey will be available for the following age groups and the following times:

9:30AM-11AM Tyke-Novice

11AM-12:30PM Atom-Peewee

12:30PM-2PM Bantam and up

The cost for Shinny is $5/player. Full equipment is required on the ice including helmets, gloves, etc. 

The facility calendar is updated by 9AM on snow days to reflect the shinny schedules. The facility calendar can be found here.

Wolf Cub Camp

Wolf Cub adventure Camp 2017

 

Week #1: Barnyard Palooza: July 10th-14th 

Welcome to the barn! With field trips and guest speakers all week the campers will be junior farmers byFriday! We will finish the week off with a Country Hoedown, where your cowboy boots and hats and get ready to learn some new country dance moves!

Week #2: Construction Juncton: July 17th-21st 2017

A week to learn about the trades! Touch a truck, build a birdhouse, learn from local guest speakers about the construction world!
 

Week #3: Mad Science July 24th-28th
Bring your lab coats because it’s experiment time! How can you make a volcano explode? What makes a rocket fly? We spend this week answering those crazy questions campers come up with!

 

Week #4: Space is the Place August 7th-11th 2017
Learn about constellations and walk on the moon at SkyZone in Guelph. The field trip is scheduled for
Thursday August 10th, $35 field trip fee added to registration fee.

Registration opens January 15th 2017, weekly fee: $130 includes swimming each week and a healthy snack
everyday!



Upcoming Events

Winter Carnival February 17th and 18th 2017

Featuring the Ripley Lions Costume Skate fropm 6PM-7PM on Friday February 17th, the pancake breakfast, hockey skills competition, ice paiting, horse drawn sleigh rides and family bingo on Saturday February 18th. More information will be available on the Township website.

March Break 3 on 3 Recreational Co-ED Hockey Tournament

Registration is open for the March Break 3 on 3 Recreational Co-ED Hockey Tournament. The registration fee is $225, each team is guaranteed 3 games and lunch is provided for all players and bench staff. Lunch options include: Chili, Pizza, sandwiches, soup, lasagna, etc.
