Parking tickets will be issued for violations of the parking by-law.
The most common parking infractions are:
- parking in a prohibited area
- parking within 3 metres of a fire hydrant
- stopped so as to interfere with traffic/snow removal
- parked in a disabled parking space.
From November 1st to April 30th of each year, regulations prohibiting parking on any residential street, highway or boulevard within the Township of Huron-Kinloss between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to permit snow removal are in effect. This by-law is strictly enforced by the Township of Huron-Kinloss in order to allow the Public Works crews to remove snow from the streets and lots quickly and efficiently. Residents and visitors are asked to adhere to this by-law during the appropriate timeframe.
Vehicles impending snow removal, or parked illegally on Township roads will be towed at the owner’s expense and tickets will be issued.
If you aware of vehicles violating this by-law please contact the By-Law Enforcement Officer at 519-395-3844
