  • Line Dance Classes - Point Clark April 16, 2025

    $10/person

    Weekly beginner and intermediate line dance classes, offering a fun and engaging way to move to the music. Each session includes two one-hour classes: a beginner class for learning the basics, followed by an intermediate class for practicing more advanced steps. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy line dancing in an energetic and welcoming environment.

  • Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club - Cards! April 17, 2025

    Join the Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club on Thursday afternoons for a few games of cards! The cost is $2/player. 

    The Huron Lakeshore Friendship Club is a local group of adults over the age of 55, who gather at the Point Clark Community Centre and participate in weekly activities. The Club has executive, who have monthly meetings to plan and coordinate events, activities and community events. New members are always welcome! The annual Membership Fee is $10. Executive Meetings are held the last Thursday each month with a potluck lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm

    Aside from weekly activities, the Club has a Pancake Brunch, Harvest Dinner and Christmas Dinner for Club Members and a community Craft and Bake sale each fall!

  • Easter Egg Hunt - Lewis Park, Ripley April 19, 2025

    Rosewood RVilla is hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lewis Park in Ripley on Saturday, April 19th at 11:00 a.m.

    This year, we’re continuing the wonderful tradition started by the Ripley Business Community!

    The hunt will follow the traditional format, where participants will register at the designated area to receive their egg number.
    Don’t forget to hop on over to Lewis Park for a fun-filled morning of Easter activities! 
    We’ll also have a special photo spot where you can snap a picture with the Easter Bunny himself! 
    We can’t wait to see you there! 

  • Ripley Dog Park Meeting April 23, 2025

    The Parks and Trails Plan identified the location for the Ripley Dog Park by the Apple Rail Trail entrance on Park St. The Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department is excited to move forward with plans for a new dog park in Ripley. This community-driven project is an opportunity to get involved early in the process, share your ideas, and help shape a space for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

    A second community meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at 6:00pm at the Ripley Apple Rail Trail entrance. At the meeting, we’ll share a proposed location change. Volunteers are also needed! If you’re interested in helping with brush clearing, organizing a spring clean-up day, or fundraising for additional park features, we’d love to hear from you. Getting involved is a great way to contribute and ensure the park’s success and longevity.
