2023-2033 Strategic Plan: Community Workshops

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is updating our 10 year Strategic Plan: Blueprint for our Future and we want to hear from you! 

What is a Strategic Plan?

A strategic plan is a guiding document that identifies what is important to Council, Staff and the Community. The plan includes our vision for the future and an action plan on how we are going to get there.

Community engagement is key for the development of a Strategic Plan to understand the vision and priorities for Huron-Kinloss residents. Please join us at one of our community workshops.

Community Workshop and Survey:

The workshops will start at 6:30 p.m. with a brief presentation, followed by Q & A until 8:00 p.m. All Huron-Kinloss residents are invited to attend. Registration is not required but appreciated. Register at www.haveyoursayhk.ca.

September 19th 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. -- Point Clark Community Centre
September 20th 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. -- Lucknow Community Centre
November 21st 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. -- Virtual (link to come)

Community Survey - Complete the community survey questions by September 30th and have your voice heard! This survey has 7 open-ended questions and 3 demographic questions, and can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 45 minutes to complete. Paper copies are available at the Township Office at 21 Queen St. in Ripley.

Final Strategy and Action Plan

The 2023-2033 Strategic Plan: Blueprint for our Future and master action plan will be presented to Council in January 2024. You will be able to view this on the agenda when available by visiting the Agenda and Minutes page on our website.
