2023 Household Hazardous Waste Days

Bruce County’s annual Household Hazardous Waste Days
with three days ideal for Huron-Kinloss residents to attend.

Get the hazardous waste materials out of your home in an environmentally safe manner at one of the upcoming dates:

Kincardine

• May 27, 2023 – 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• August 12, 2023 – 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• Kincardine Public Works Yard, 140 Valentine Ave., Kincardine, ON

Lucknow

• June 10, 2023 – 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Bruce County Transportation Yard, 545 Ludgard St., Lucknow, ON

If you attend one of these events, you’re asked to follow all safety protocols. You should remain in your vehicle with windows closed and with waste materials in your open trunk for unloading.

Waste must be received in containers of 30 litres or less for disposal. Containers will not be emptied and returned.

Unacceptable Materials

• Infectious Waste, including sharps
• Explosives, Ammunition, or Flares
• Empty Cans, Bottle, etc. (empty paint and aerosol cans go directly into the blue box).
• Cardboard boxes.
