Construction Begins at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre

HURON-KINLOSS, ON: The Main Entrance of the Ripley-Huron Community Centre will be temporality closed as construction begins for the facility’s renovations starting Wednesday, October 12, 2022 until further notice.

The Ripley-Huron Community Centre Main Entrance will be closed during these renovations. Renters and patrons are asked to use the East Entrance Door, located to the right of the Main Entrance, 17 Queen Street, Ripley, ON.

 In 2021, Ripley-Huron Community Centre was approved for a Community Building Fund-Capital grant by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The funds are being used to renovate the main entrance of the Ripley-Huron Community Centre to improve the flow of traffic, including new touchless and accessible doors, and includes adding two new accessible dressing rooms. The Ripley-Huron Community Centre is used by a variety of community organizations for hockey, figure skating, in addition to meetings, celebrations and fundraisers. Thanks to the work being done with the grant, people of all abilities will have improved access the building.
