Council Announces the New Manager of Building and Planning Services/ Chief Building Official

COUNCIL ANNOUNCES THE NEW MANAGER OF BUILDING & PLANNING SERVICES/CHIEF BUILDING OFFICIAL

HURON-KINLOSS, ONTARIO, Today, on behalf of Council, Township of Huron-Kinloss Mayor Don Murray announced that Bill Klingenberg will join the Huron-Kinloss staff in the role of Manager of Building and Planning Services/ CBO. Bill will join the Huron-Kinloss staff on May 15^th, 2023.

“Bill brings more than 16 years’ experience as a Building Official, Chief Building Official and Director. Overall, Bill has more than 20 years in the municipal sector and 35 years in the construction industry. He brings a wealth of knowledge, municipal experience, and private sector experience to this position,” said Chief Administrative Officer Mary Rose Walden. “I’m very pleased to welcome him to the Huron-Kinloss staff team”.

“I am excited to work with the Council and the Township of Huron-Kinloss as their Chief Building Official. Building and Planning have been part of my entire career having been on both the private and public side of the table, I bring a broad viewpoint of the development and building process.  I look forward to building relationships with those I work with and interact with, and I thank you for the opportunity to serve this community." commented Bill Klingenberg.
