Council Highlights April 17th, 2023
The Township of Huron-Kinloss Council meeting was held in Council Chambers at 21 Queen Street in Ripley at 7:00 p.m.
Highlights from the meeting include:
Ontario Power Generation
Brent Fisher, Senior Manager of Corporate Relations and Projects, presented an OPG Community Update to Council.
Grey-Bruce Community Safety & Well-Being
Representatives from the Grey Bruce Community Safety and Well-Being (CSWB) Planning committee presented an update to Council.
The CSWB is an approach to crime prevention that is extremely collaborative and focuses on addressing the risks in our communities that can lead to crime.
The process includes identification of programs and services in existence that already support community safety and well-being, broad community engagement to identify the risks that exist in communities across Bruce and Grey, and then action planning to address the priority risks for each municipality, as well as Bruce and Grey as a whole.

South Bruce OPP Township of Huron-Kinloss Year End Report 2022
The Detachment Commander of the South Bruce OPP presented their Township of Huron-Kinloss Year End Report 2022 to Council. View the report for crime and traffic statistics for 2022 as compared to 2021.
Upcoming Meetings
The next Township of Huron-Kinloss Committee of the Whole meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1st, 2023. This meeting will be held in Council Chambers at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen Street in Ripley.
