Council Highlights December 12th, 2022
Council Planning and Committee of Adjustment Meeting
A Bruce County Planner attended with a report for a minor variance application to be reviewed at the Committee of Adjustment meeting. A planning application to rezone a portion of a property was also presented to be considered by Council.
Courtney Minor Variance
The application looked to allow relief from the interior side yard and height setbacks, to facilitate an addition to the existing single detached dwelling. The property is located northwest of Hwy 21 and north of Concession 12.
Morrison Zoning Bylaw Amendment
This application asked to rezone a portion of the property to allow for a secondary dwelling. If approved, the application would facilitate the new construction of an additional dwelling. A holding provision requiring an Archaeological Assessment for the lands containing high archaeological potential is proposed.
Council will consider the Morrison Zoning Amendment By-law at the December 19th meeting of Council.
