Council Highlights September 12th, 2022

Council Meeting – September 12, 2022 Highlights

Planning Applications

Bruce County Planners attended the meeting to present two separate planning applications in Huron-Kinloss:

Johnston Severance

The application looked to sever a parcel of land from 206 Bruce Rd 86 and add it to an adjacent parcel at 7 Whitechurch St. This will facilitate a lot line adjustment correcting a historical encroachment of a shed on the subject parcel.

Both applications were supported by Council and staff has been directed to prepare the by-laws for the September 19th Council meeting.

Wind Turbines

Bruce County Planner Monica Walker-Bolton presented a Planning Report regarding the Multi-Municipal Wind Turbine Working Group recommending Setbacks for Wind Turbines.

Proposed Bell Mobility Tower
