Join the Festivities at the Ripley Winter Carnival this Family Day Weekend

Join the fun and excitement at the annual family-favourite Ripley Winter Carnival this Family Day weekend, beginning this Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. with the much-loved Costume Skate, sponsored by the Ripley & District Lions Club and Ripley Agricultural Society. Get creative and dress to impress and you may just take home a prize!

Saturday morning feed the whole family at the Pancake Breakfast with eggs, ham, toast, coffee, and of course, pancakes! All served with a smile by your dedicated Huron-Kinloss Council and Staff volunteers. Adults eat for $10, children under 12 for $5, and a family of four for $25 (children under 5 eat for free!).

Children can showcase their artistic talents with the ice surface as their canvas at the Ice Painting event from 1 to 2 p.m. For those with a competitive edge, the Hockey Skills Competition with the Ripley Wolves promises thrills and excitement. Categories for best shooter, puck control, and fastest skater will be judged by the Wolves in four age categories. No registration is required and there are many prizes to be won!

Enjoy a wintery Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride through the fields beside the Ripley-Huron Community Centre, thanks to Jim and Fran Farrell of FarHope Farm from 10 to 1 p.m.

Don't miss out on all the fun to be had this Family Day Weekend, February 16th and 17th at the Ripley Winter Carnival. Many more events are scheduled and the full list of events is available on our Ripley Winter Carnival webpage
