Notice of Intention to Declare Lands Surplus
Please be advised that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Huron-Kinloss intends to declare the lands described as LT 286-288 PL 264; PT LT 285 PL 264; PT LT 14 CON 7 HURON PT 1 & 2, 3R4476, PT 1 & 2 3R4474 & SRO PT 3, 3R5774 S/T RIGHT IN R293079; HURON KINLOSS (Ripley Industrial Park Lands) surplus to the Township’s needs in accordance with Township By-law No. 99-18 and Section 270 the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25, as amended.
It is the Township’s intention to sell Block 4 at this time. See map showing the location of the Surplus Lands (hashed line) and Block 4. A copy of the draft plan showing the property under consideration may be inspected by contacting the Clerk.
The By-Law to declare the subject lands surplus and to authorize Block 4 to be sold will be considered by Council at their meeting being held in Council Chambers, 21 Queen Street, Ripley ON N0G 2R0, on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 7:00 pm.
Council shall hear any person who wishes to comment on the proposed declaration of surplus lands by:

Appearing in person at the Council meeting, advising the Chair when the public is asked for verbal or written representation.

Providing written comments to be included in the agenda package. Comments may be submitted to Emily Dance, Clerk by 4:30 p.m. by Thursday August 4, 2022 via e-mail or 21 Queen Street, P.O. Box 130 Ripley ON N0G 2R0
Comments will be considered in public and will form part of the public record of Council, which is published on the Township of Huron-Kinloss website.
