Notice of Public Meeting - Development Charges Study and By-law

TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Huron-Kinloss is holding a Public Meeting to discuss implementing a Development Charges By-law. Development charges are fees on new developments that fund growth-related costs to the Township, as governed by the Development Charges Act, 1997. This By-law will set out the new development charge rates. A public meeting will be held on:

The Draft Background Report is available for review at Development Charges | Township of Huron-Kinloss (huronkinloss.com) or at the Township Office (21 Queen Street, Ripley). Copies of the proposed By-law will be available 2 weeks ahead of the meeting. Representatives of B. M. Ross and Associates Limited will be at the meeting to present details of the Draft Background Report and answer questions.
