Ripley Dog Park Community Meeting

The Huron-Kinloss Community Services Department is excited to move forward with plans for a new dog park in Ripley, located between the Apple Rail Trail entrance and the soccer fields. This community-driven project is an opportunity to get involved early in the process, share your ideas, and help shape a space for dogs and their owners to enjoy.

A community meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 21, at 6:30 PM at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. At the meeting, we’ll share a proposed design, tentative layouts, and cost estimates. We’re seeking input from Ripley residents on tweaks to the design and layout, as well as ideas for enhancing the park.

Volunteers are also needed! If you’re interested in helping with brush clearing, organizing a spring clean-up day, or fundraising for additional park features, we’d love to hear from you. Getting involved is a great way to contribute and ensure the park’s success and longevity.
