DECEMBER 2, 4:15 PM - This SWE is still active. Township plows have been able to keep up with the snow accumulation, however, more snow is forecasted tonight. Please exercise caution when traveling. Your patience is appreciated.

DECEMBER 1, 2:00 PM - This SWE is still active. Township plows are in the process of addressing snow accumulation in the former Huron Township. Drivers should expect more snow accumulation tonight according to weather forecasts.

* Please note - Snow plowing of roads west of Lake Range Dr. and north of Concession 10 will be delayed approximately 4 hrs on Monday, December 2nd. We apologize for the inconvenience.

NOVEMBER 30, 5:00 PM - This Significant Weather Event (SWE) is still active. Use appropriate level of caution when travelling. Township staff are continuing to work diligently to ensure public safety

NOVEMBER 29, 1:30PM - The Township of Huron-Kinloss has declared a Significant Weather Event due to snow accumulation in accordance with Ontario Regulation 366/18. This is to notify drivers and pedestrians to use an appropriate level of caution when travelling during this event.

Back Forty Bazaar 

Open Air Weekly Markets

The Back Forty Bazaar is an exciting initiative by the Township of Huron-Kinloss set to run on Thursdays from 3 to 7 p.m. beginning in June through to August, alternating between Ripley and Lucknow in the evenings. Vendors attending the Bazaar must be approved to vend by the Township of Huron-Kinloss in advance of the vendors’ start date. The cost to register as a vendor is $15 per week. You do not have to sign up for every week.

Ripley Food Art and Craft Festival

Annual celebration of local food, art & craft

There are 15 vendor spaces left for the Ripley Food Art and Craft Festival on August 17th, 2024 at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre. Vendor fee is $40 and includes a 10X10 space, an 8 foot table and two chairs. The Festival is an annual event that showcases local artisans and food producers. The 2023 event has 60 vendors and over 600 event attendees!
