Water and Wastewater Servicing Master Plan Open House

The Township of Huron-Kinloss is working on a Master Plan examining future growth and associated water and wastewater infrastructure needs in the communities of Ripley, Lucknow, and the Lakeshore areas. This Master Plan will examine forecasted future residential and non-residential growth over the next 25-years and identify water and wastewater infrastructure required to support this future growth. 

The Master Plan will serve as a roadmap for the future, allowing Council and staff to plan and budget for upgrades, expansions and modifications to the water and wastewater systems over the next 25 years.

PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT: Public consultation is a key component of this study. A presentation about this study will be available for viewing on November 14, 2022 at  www.huronkinloss.com/water-wastewater-servicing-master-plan. An Open House will also be held to give residents an opportunity to view information about the project and meet with the study team.

The Open House will be held:
Wednesday, November 16, 2022 6 PM – 8 PM
Social Room, Ripley-Huron Community Centre (17 Queen St. Ripley)

Any comments collected will be maintained on file for use during the project and may be included in project documentation. THE MASTER PLAN PROCESS: This Master Plan is being conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA), following Approach 1 for Master Plans. The process includes consultation with the general public, community stakeholder groups, government review agencies, First Nation and Métis communities.
